Who Has The Biggest Hands in the NBA Ever? One of the most interesting things about professional combines is that most sports now measure hand size when evaluating future players. In last year's NFL draft, as an example, Pittsburgh quarterback, Kenny Pickett, was measured with only 8.5 inch hands, smaller than any QB in the league (he still managed to get drafted in the first round).
Having large hands certainly doesn't predict success. However, the ability to easily maneuver the ball, especially in a sport like basketball, is certainly an advantage. Tags:

Did you know that the NBA didn't add the 3 point line until 1979? A few years prior to that, in 1976-1977, Pete Maravich led the NBA in scoring at 31.1 points per game. In 1961-1962, Wilt Chamberlain averaged a ridiculous 50.4 points per game, but given his style of play, I don't think a 3 point line would've changed much.

Shooting a basketball is like swinging a golf club: it requires hundreds of hours of practice to develop consistent muscle memory. For a lot of young players, unfortunately, they develop flawed shooting mechanics at a young age, and the practice they put in reinforces those flaws. All of a sudden, they're playing in high school, and it's too late.

The Best Michael Jordan Biographies to Read in 2023!When Michael Jordan was actively playing basketball, there wasn't a doubt that he was the best basketball player in the world. Basketball Gift IdeasI love to give gifts. It makes me happy, and I take pride in finding just the right gift. To get there, though, often requires some digging. You're trying to anticipate what might make someone's day based on their interests. Simply asking them what they'd like is practical but a bit of a cop out.
