Into to Nick SabanGetting a book written about you is an honor of a lifetime. In Nick Saban's case, there are so many books that he's either the most fascinating man in the world or has been great at his job for a very long time. We know the latter to be true; jury's still out on the former. When you win at a high level, how you do everything is scrutinized. With many of these books, the strategies, philosophies, and action steps are applied to other fields outside of the football field. Saban's story is interesting, from his humble upbringing in West Virginia to his challenges in the NFL. His 280 wins as a college football coach put him in 16th place on the all-time list, no where near former St. John's (division 3) coach, John Gagliardi's 489. However, his 80.1% winning percentage is only eclipsed by two people ahead of him on the win list. Saban's no-nonsense approach, no doubt inspired by his time with Bill Belichick and the Cleveland Browns, has set him apart at Alabama. With former understudy, Kirby Smart, coming into his own at Georgia, has Saban's time at the top come to end? Only time will tell. 9 Nick Saban Books Worth ReadingTo check the prices of any of these books on Amazon, please click on the book cover.
