Popular Sports Books That Became Movies

From Paperback to the Big Screen

Have you ever read a book and thought, "That should be a movie!" 

Or, maybe it's the other way around, where you watch a move and then wonder if it was based off of a book. There have certainly been a plethora of movies made from popular books, but what about sports books specifically?

Once my wife and I get our kids to sleep, we often debate what to watch next. Never one for the same genres, I like to mix things up, including throwing a good sports movie out there once in a while. If you're in need of a recommendation, I hope I provided some thought starters!
